Sharon Renee Bozarth Rowe, the daughter of Claude Earl Bozarth, Jr. and Joyce VirJean Potter, was born May 1, 1962 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. She attended James Madison High School where she graduated in 1980. She served 3 years with the Madison - U.S. Navy R.O.T.C. (Reserve Officers Training Corps) in several capacities. She was the Corps Chaplain during her senior year.

Sharon attended Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas for two years before spending her junior year in Strasburgh, Alsace Province, France as an exchange student of the University of Houston.

During the late 1970s and 1980s Sharon was a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism, a re-inactment group that studies the arts, culture and history of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance era. Over the years she worked at an insurance agency and several advertising agencies. She was a member of the Almeda-South Post Oak Rotary Club where she served in many capacities over the years. She was recognized for her various achievements for the club and was named as a Paul Harris Fellow in 1994.

Sharon was a Girl Scout during her youth and earned the First Class Award. Through the 1980s Sharon served in many capacities with the Golden Arrow District of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. She began as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts and served on the District and Council Training teams and as a Commissioner in later years. She was awarded the Golden Arrow District Award of Merit for her work with the District and another Award of Merit for her work with the Handicapped Division of the B.S.A.

In the late 1990s Sharon went to work as a security guard for Pinkerton, Inc. where she met her future husband, Patrick Casey Rowe. They were married at the Mount Olive Luthern Church in Houston, Texas by Rev. Randy W. Ledbetter on May 15, 1999. The following year Sharon and Patrick took the inquirers' Class and have been faithful in their church attendance throughout the years.

During the last few years, Sharon became involved with a knitting group and exchanged crazy-quilting projects with many people in the states and several in other countries. She did so enjoy planning her crazy quilt squares to exchange and receiving the projects that other crazy-quilters had sent her. She had so many projects that she wanted to finish before she left us, but it was not to be.
