Martha was the daughter of James Lewis Rountree and Musidora Flack.
On 17 Dec 1852, Martha married Pleasant M Nail and they had one daughter:-
(i) Musadore 'Dora' Ann Nail m. Marshall Lafayette Casey.
Shortly after husband Pleasant's death in abt 1856 Martha married Kincher Dawson Turner and they had at least 5 children:-
(i) Owen Franklin Turner m. Rhoda Josephine Hayhurst.
(ii) Robert William Turner m. Clara McKinney.
(iii) John O Turner.
(iv) Emma 'Emily' Jane Turner m. Rufus Emory Wamble.
(v) Lewis Lawson Turner.
Husband Kincher died abt 1866 leaving Martha to raise the family by herself.
