WILMINGTON
Thomas Leroy Baker was born near Wilmington April 1, 1840; was married to Miss Celeste Canfield Nov. 15, 1866, and died of consumption at Wilmington after an illness of 18 months. He served as a brave soldier in the late war in Company D of the Third Indiana cavalry. He was a man greatly respected in the community where he has lived his entire life. He was kind and accommodating as a neighbor and helpful as a friend, and it is with deep regret that we lose so good a citizen.
