Mrs. Gertrude M. Rancourt, 80, of 8 Butler Court, died Wednesday at a Waterville hospital after a long illness.
Born in Brooks, March 17, 1892, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Wilson McTaggart, and had been a resident of Waterville most of her life. She was employed at the Lockwood Duchess Co.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Rancourt of Waterville; two sons, Robert Rancourt of Benton and Everett Maddocks of Searsport; one daughter, Mrs. Alberta Hall of Kentucky; one sister, Elizabeth Silva of Waterville; one brother Robert McTaggart of Rome; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am at the Lawry Brothers Funeral Home in Fairfield where friends may call today from 7 to 9 pm.
Her death certificate show parents with mothers maiden name shows Robert McTaggart and Ellen Ware.
