Barbara Chittenden,79,Special mother ,grandmother and friend,died Monday,June 28.1999,after a brief illness.
Born in Montville,N.J.she lived most of her life in South Burlington in a home of which she loved.Until her illness .
Barbara was part owner ,bookkeeper,and proud baker of the Chittenden Cider Mill.
She is survived by her son Eric and wife Francine of Waterbury Center;son Tom and his wife Nicole;Daugther Joan Nadeau and husband Leo;Son Robert,daugther Casey Hayes and her husband Reg of South Burlington,
Daugther Joyce Beliveau and husband Yvan of Blacksburg,Va.She is also survived by two brothers ,Tom and Steve of Arizona.
Barbara also leaves 17 wonderful grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday,July 1,1999.at 12 p.m. in St John Vianney Roman Church.Burial will follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery.
In Liew of flowers,memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the Vermont Respite House,99 Allen Brook Lane,Williston,Vt.05495
