EDEN D. BALDWIN
CHITTENANGO - Eden D. Baldwin, 79, a former resident of Perryville, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Pickard of Kirkville.
Born in Perryville, Dec. 10, 1881, Mr. Baldwin resided in Perryville most of his life until moving to Ohio, seven years ago.
Surviving are one son, DeForest Baldwin of Jamesville, a step-son, Herman Snyder; four daughters, Mrs. Pickard, Mrs. August Emmerick, Mrs. Larry Morehead, and Mrs. Norman Emmerick, all of Vermillion, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Stafford of Jamesville, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Tyler Funeral Home, Chittenango, with the Rev. Donald W. Rush of the Federated Church of Jamesville officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tyler Funeral Home.

EDEN BALDWIN
Eden D.Baldwin, 81, died Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Pickard, in Kirkville, N.Y.
Mr. Baldwin had been visiting the Pickards for the past five months. He had made his home with another daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Emmerich, 624 Sandusky St., Vermilion.
Born in Perryville, N.Y. he lived most of his life in the vicinity of Syracuse. Employed at Madison County Highway Department in New York for many years, Mr. Baldwin moved to the Lorain area in 1943 and was employed at Thew Shovel Co. until his retirement 12 years ago. His wife, Ethel Mott Baldwin, died in 1950.
Survivors include two daughters, in addition to Mrs. Pickard and Mrs. Emmerich, Mrs. Larry Moorehead and Mrs. August Emmerich, both of Vermilion; a son, DeForest of Jamesville, N.Y.; a stepson, Harmon Snyder of San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Stafford of Jamesville, N.Y.
The body is at Tyler Funeral Home, Canastota, N.Y., where services will be Friday at 2 p.m. The body will be brought to Fisher Funeral Home, Vermilion, where friends may call after 8 p.m. Saturday until time of services Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Norman S. Greenawalt, pastor of Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
