Frank's father Frank Mason Brown was drowned in the Grand Canyon July 10, 1889, his body never found. Frank was just two at the time.
Frank married Mamie Elizabeth Thomas from Caldwell Kentucky, in 1915 in Denver, Colorado. They had seven children. Mamie is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Frank's Uncle William Shaw Ward was the first Curator of Minerals for the State Museum of Colorado. Frank was a Curator at the State Museum of Colorado until he went to work for the Denver Water Department as a draftsman. He worked there until he retirement.
His daughter Dorothy Brown Boden died in California and was cremated.
