SEALS, Lee E. "Gene" Age 77, was born March 26, 1931 in Jackson Co., KY and went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 11, 2009 at his Daughters' home in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Mabel, who passed in January of 2007 after 54 years of marriage; one brother, and one sister. Survived by his daughter Gail and her husband Tim; granddaughter Jenny (Josh) Combs; and two loving great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anthony, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by one brother and five sisters, and many more family members and friends. Lee was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church. A celebration of Lee's life will be held 12:30 PM Monday Feb. 16, 2009 at Grace Baptist Church, 142 Olive Rd., with Pastor Doug Criswell Officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 10:30 AM until the start of the service. Special thanks to Kettering Hospital and the staff of nurses, aides, and doctors who did an excellent job of caring for Lee, Hospice of Dayton and their staff, and of course his sister Bonnie and her husband Kirby Hinds. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Dayton.
