Sherry Lynn Biddle, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter and grandmother.
She was born Nov. 5, 1948, in Pittsfield, Ill., daughter of Harry A. and Betty Joann Blevins Clough. She and Richard E. Biddle were married July 9, 1971, at the Methodist church in Quincy, Ill.
Biddle graduated from Griggsville Illinois High School in 1966 and from Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill. She was a secretary for Moorman's Mtg. Co., Doyle Mfg. Co. and St. Mary's Hospital in Quincy. She also worked for Pike County Federal Housing Authority in Barry, Ill. She retired in 2001.
She was a former member of Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church in Quincy. She moved to Cape Girardeau in March 2006.
Survivors include her husband, Richard E. Biddle of Cape Girardeau; a son, Jason S. (Lavonna) Biddle of Jackson; her parents, Harry A. and Betty Joann Clough of Jackson; and a grandchild, Ryaan W. Biddle.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Biddle, who passed away Dec. 11, 1999.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Kabo Jr. officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church in Quincy.
Burial will be at Ellington Home Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to American Red Cross or Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church of Quincy.
