Beverly J. Albrecht

Beverly J. Albrecht, 79, 1242 S. Eighth Ave., Wausau, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born June 10, 1928, in the town of Maine, daughter of Gwendolyn (Schmieden) Aschbrenner and the late Ervin Aschbrenner. On May 21, 1949, she married Henry Albrecht in Wausau. He preceded her in death April 17, 1999.

Bev was a lifelong member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and was active in the Mother's Club. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, cross-stitch and ceramics. Bev will be remembered as a person who always kept her priorities in order -- first was her faith, then her family.

Besides her father and husband, Henry, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Kenneth Wood; and two brothers, Donnie and Gene.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wausau. The Rev. Mary Kay Sauter will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
