Dorothy Elaine (Clark) Bittner passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 at Providence Park St. Catherine Center in Waco, TX.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 18, at Vondel Smith South at 6934 S. Western in OKC, officiated by Harry Osborne. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
Dorothy was born January 9, 1914 in Weatherford, OK to Cortis A. and Fay (Neeham) Clark. Dorothy attended high school in Panhandle, TX graduating in 1931. She was a graduate of West Texas State Teachers College in August of 1934 in Canyon, TX. Dorothy was a long-time employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring in 1976.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George H. Bittner her parents brothers, Cortis A. "Bud" Clark Jr., Calvert N. Clark infant sister Catherine Jean Clark.
She is survived by a niece, Yvonne Hietzner and husband Steve of Leesburg, Florida a nephew, George Clark and wife Barbara of Florida cousins Bonnie Needham of Tempe, AZ, Laurene Needham of Tulsa, OK.
