DEATH OF MRS. HASKINS
Mrs. H. H. Haskins, formerly a well-known resident of this vicinity, died at her home at Mizpah, Montana, Wednesday, November 8th. She had been suffering with Bright's disease for the past year, but it was not thought her end was near. She had returned that day from Miles Cit, where she had been on a visit to her daughter. She had gone to bed in the evening, and when Mr. Haskins prepared to retire a half hour later, he found that she was dead.
The family moved to the Hulett country about nine years ago, and located near the Forest post office about twelve miles south of town. Here they lived until the spring of 1915, when they moved to Mizpah, near Miles City. Mrs Haskins has not been well since they left here. Besides her husband, six daughters and five sons will mourn her going. She was an ambitious woman, and one who took an interest in the welfare of her neighbors as well as in her own family. She was at all times well read and posted on the events of the day and was an interesting talker on many subjects. Her going will be regretted by her many friends and neighbors here and the sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved husband and family. Other relatives living in the community are a sister, Mrs. C. R. Wright and a niece and nephew, Mrs. Eric Huseby and Steve Wright.
