Charlotte Juanita Collier Lee, age 78, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2008 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A native of Gaston County, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Etta Wykle Collier.
Charlotte was a long-time member of Sharon Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services for Charlotte will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Bumgardner Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors, Belmont with Revs. O'dell Cook and Sherman Branch, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter Diann Riddle of Belmont and her fiance', Christopher Farley of Hickory, son Darryl Scott Lee of Belmont, brothers Bill Dean Collier and wife, Nan of Portland, TN and Ronnie D. Collier and wife Faye of Fort Mill, SC, grandchildren; Jennifer Marie Coleman Rudisill and husband Shawn of Denver, Brandi Lee Coleman of Stanley, great grandchildren Joshua Andrew Rudisill of Denver, Jacob Adrein and Justin Robert Coleman of Stanley and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edward Lee, son Adren "Dickie" Lee, brother Samuel "JR" Collier, sister Elaine Collier, son-in-law Terry R. Riddle
