Elsie Elizabeth Bryan was born 11 March 1880 in Pleasant Township, Wabash County, Indiana, the daughter of Peter and Lucinda (Arnold) Figert. She died 21 February 1963 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Wabash County, Indiana. She was buried at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Roann, Wabash County, Indiana.

She married William Bryan 4 Nov 1907. He died in 1949.

Cause of death: stroke.

Survivors: sons: John Bryan and William Bryan; daughter: Mrs. T. A. (Mary) Strangland; brothers: Walter Figert, Russell Figert, Wilbur Figert and John Figert; sisters: Mrs. Ray Davenport and Mrs. Russell Shipley.
