Virgie M. Mark, 95, of Grand Forks, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks.
Virgie Martini Mark was born on June 27, 1913, in Braddock, ND, the daughter of Otto & Esther (Lundberg) Martini.
Virgie graduated from Braddock High School in 1931.
She married Ronald Aarvig in 1934 and James Mark in 1962. James Mark died in 1991.
Virgie worked at Armour & Co., Bridgeman Creameries, Mary Elizabeth Store, and Clothes Connection.
Virgie is survived by sons; Dennis Aarvig, Dave (Judy) Aarvig, and Jack Aarvig; grandchildren, Debbie Aarvig of Seattle, WA, Shane (Lori) Aarvig, Matt (Kristi) Aarvig, and Scott Aarvig; great-grandchildren, Cody & Casey Aarvig; stepchildren, Frances (Jim) Sholes, Nona (Bernie) Steele of Tunkhannock, PA, Lynnae (Jack) Ramsey, Lila Stines, Gary Mark of Gresham, OR, Emily Mureddu; sister, Julia Koenig of Yakima, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers, Floyd, Clifford, George, Ross, and Richard; sisters, Hazel Brittain and Helen Burk.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Wesley Methodist Church 1600 4th Ave. N. in Grand Forks.
VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND
