Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Margaret Zwahlen Mackay, age 78, died May 3, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born September 5, 1919 in Castledale, Utah, daughter of Joseph and Viola Peterson Zwahlen.
Served an LDS mission with her husband to the Washington D.C. Temple, 1985-86. She was involved in much church and community activity including the first vice president of PTA at Granger High School and president at Plymouth and Vista Elementaries and Relief Society president in six wards. She loved to do handicrafts, gardening and home canning.
Survived by husband, Glen, Taylorsville; children, Donalee (Jim) Davis, North Carolina; Ronald (Marie) Mackay, Herriman; Blaine (Keeta) Mackay, California; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Paul) Lambert, Taylorsville; brother, Kenneth (Betty) Zwahlen, California.
Preceded in death by son, Joseph, daughter, Marjorie Bell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon at the Hewwood Ward, 5643 South 2200 West. Friends may call Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
