Mervin Danny Haverstock, New Oxford, died suddenly Sunday morning at 5:20o'clock February 23, 1958 at 5:20 of a heart condition.

He was a native of Heildersburg, a son of the late George and Cora (Pittenturf) Haverstock.

Mr. Haverstock was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Heidlersburg, and a resident of Adams County and a farmer all of his life.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mamie Wildasin; four daughters, Mildred Baugher, Ruth Hoff, Marie Stough, all of New Oxford, Jean Wambaugh, of Dallastown, a son, Ray Haverstock, of New Oxford; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Haverstock, of Heidlersburg, and Earl J. Haverstock, of Abbottstown and five sisters: Etta Deardoff, of New Oxford; Lulu Miller, of New Oxford; Mrs. Jack Kaiper, of York; Ethel Null, of Harrisburg and Mrs. Clarence Sills, of Abbottstown.

Interment was in New Oxford Cemetery.
