Myrna M. Comfort, 80, Missouri Valley, died Apr. 16 at Longview Home, Missouri Valley.
Myrna was born July 29, 1926 in Little Sioux to Guy and Irene (Lane) Brunstedt. She graduated from Magnolia High School and attended Wayne State College, Wayne, Neb, and Dana College, Blair, where she received her teaching certificate. She married Willis (Bill) Comfort and was blessed with five children. Willis died March 20, 1987. Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She taught school in many states. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis; and a daughter, Jean Marie Comfort.
Survived by 4 children, 6 grandchildren, one sister, a nephew, and 2 great-grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Apr. 19 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Missouri Valley, Rev. Fr. Bob Harris, celebrant.
