Services for Alvis Oneal Nazworth, 75, of Moultrie, are 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Andy Hall will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Nazworth died June 9 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. Born Feb. 5, 1932, in Grady County, he was the son of the late Maston Oneal and Verna Gladys Martin Nazwoth. On Dec. 8, 1955, in Camilla, he married Theresa Meaney Nazworth, who precedes him in death. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a sergeant of the Mess Hall, was a member of East Pelham Baptist Church and VFW. Survivors are daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and Ted Snook of Lourdes, Newfoundland, Verna and Tim Reece of Mobile, Ala., Delena and Artie Butler of Pelham; daughter, Delilah B. Nazworth, of Thomasville; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Martha Nazworth, of Thomasville, Duncan Dewayne and Tisa Nazworth of Jackson Gap, Ala.; sons, Alvis P. Meaney of Birmingham, Ala., James J. Nazworth, of California; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sue Nazworth of Florence, Ala.; brother, Jerry Nazworth, of Gainesville, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
