Faye E. Brown Dies Suddenly

Faye Elizabelh Carson Brown, 56, of Brunswick died suddenly Thursday night In the Glynn-Brunswick Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday In the Norwich Streel Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Lewis and the Rev. Eben Carson will officiate. Interment will follow at Brunswick Memorlal Park Cermelery.

Active pallbearers will be Jackies McKenzie, J.C. Dubberly, Dilburn Saunders, Arthur Register, Harvey Burney and Virgil Hickox. Honorary pallbearers will be the Helping Hands Sunday school class.

The body will remain in the funeral home and will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. to await the hour or service. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. tonight and Sunday night.

Survivors are four daughters, Elizabeth Wendel, Debra Woodard, Frances Brown, and Allce Brown, all of Brunswick; three brothers, W. T. Carson of Brunswick, James H. Carson of Memphis, Tenn., and John L. Carson of Covington, Tenn.; five sisters, Alma Blakley, Frances Bryson, Carolyn Hauley all of Memphis, Tenn., Fraucie [Flaucie] Jones of Millington, Tenn., and Bobbie Thurmond of Dyersburg, Tenn.; a grandson; several nieces and nephews.

She was a native of Memphis, Tenn., and had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Norwich Street Baptist Church.

Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
