His paternal grandparents were Rasmus and Annie Johnson Larson. Both sets of grandparents were born in Norway. James married Wilma Maud Slice on 01 Sep 1940. Their only child was born the following year,James Keith Larson, born 22 Aug 1941 Limon, CO and died 03 Apr 1984 Hugo, CO. James had eight brothers and sisters, including one not surviving infancy. Two years after the death of Wilma, James married Viola Amelia Davis Chubbuck. There were no children born to this union.
