She was born August 14, 1922, in Circleville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel Huffman Wrightsel and was a member and long time choir director of First Church of the Nazarene of Portsmouth.
She retired in 1976 as a clerk for Cyclops Corporation and was a private piano teacher for 50 years.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Wrightsel.
Surviving are one sister, Verona Harrigan of Portsmouth; a close friend, Marjorie Staten, with whom she resided; one sister-in-law, Helen Wrightsel of Los Angeles, Calif; and one niece and her husband, Kathy and Michael Daly of Los Angeles, Calif., and their children Alex and Claire Daly.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene in Portsmouth, with the Rev. Richard Patmore and the Rev. Dennis Kiper officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park.
Friends may call at Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 pm. Sunday.
The family's favorite charity is First Church of the Nazarene.
