John Edward Ackerman, of Petersburg, died at 5:55 a.m. Friday, March 25, 1955, in Pekin Public hospital, age 71.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Weyhrich, of Green Valley; and Mrs. Glenn Reinders, of Berkley, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Stoehr, of Pueblo, Colo.; and Mrs. Lydia Segelke, of Denver, Colo.; a half-brother, Carl Ackerman, of Germany; and three grandchildren.

Remains were at Thompson, Harms & Hurley funeral home, Petersburg.

Remains were removed to Bethlehem Lutheran church, Petersburg where services were held.

Burial in Rose Hill cemetery, Petersburg.
