S. course at West Tennessee Christian College, Henderson. Tenn., June, 1891. He was in the evangelistic work eight successive years under Tennessee Mission Board; had over 4,000 additions, 174 in one meeting; received honorary degree A.M. at Georgie Robertson Christian College 1900. Married Miss Sara E. Snellings, Feb. 18, 1903. [John T. Brown's Churches of Christ, p. 573].
