GROAT - Mrs. Eva Mary Groat, age 70, of 824 May St., Hammond, passed away Tuesday at 6 p.m. at her home after one month's illness. Funeral services Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the Dalton Funeral home, 727 Carroll St., and 9 o'clock at All Saints' Church, Msgr. E. Mungovan officiating. Members of the All Saints' Rosary society will meet at the funeral home Thursday evening at 8 o'clock to recite the rosary. She is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Dorothy of Hammond; one son, Cpl. George M. of Camp Maxey, Texas, 2 granchildren.
