Groat, William J.
Military rites will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, for William J. Groat, 73 of 826 May St., Hammond, who died yesterday at the Hines hospital, in the Dolton Funeral home, 727 Carrol St. American Legion Post 16 will conduct gravesite services in Elmwood cemetery, where he will be buried. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Dorothy Groat of Calumet City, and a son, George of Hammond. Groat was a Spanish American war veteran and had been at Hines hospital since January.
