Shannon Danyell Middleton, 24 of Carleton Street, a cashier at Albertson, died of smoke inhalation Sunday at her home. Police are investigating her death as an arson.
Services are noon today at Baldwin - Lee Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookhaven. Visitation is at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Miss Middleton was a Jackson native and had lived in Jackson the past three years. She also lived in Demopolis, AL, for two years. She attended Westhaven Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with her family and collecting crafts and Beanie Babies.
Survivors include; father, Douglas Middleton of Canton; brothers, Aaron Byrne of Brandon, Lee Maness, Jr. of Jackson and Chad Maness of Holly Springs; and sisters, Wanda Berry of Brandon, Vanda Moore of Demopolis, AL, and Amanda Middleton of Canton.
Memorials may be made to Miss Middleton's trust fund at Trusmark National Bank.
