Sixtieth Anniversary
Is Celebrated by Sanders
Recently Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Sanders celebrated the 60th anniversary of their wedding at their home, 305 West Sixth.
Gentry Thomas Sanders was born in Monroe county, Missouri, in 1861, and Lizzy Rigsby was born November 26, 1867. They were married at Woodlawn, Mo., in 1887.
In 1906 they moved to Konawa and lived there three years. Then they moved to the Worstell community 11 miles northwest of Ada, later brought and moved to a farm in the Lovelady community. They lived there until two years ago, when they moved to their present address.
Of their eight children, four of them sons and four daughters, six are living; there are 22 grandchildren and 22 great-granchildren.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Sanders are still active despite the advancing years.
