Mr. Quilter was born in Bucyrus, O., and lived in Toledo most of his life. He was a Pennsylvania Railroad yard conductor 50 years, retiring in 1955, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are his wife, Mary C., sons, J. Edward, Chicago, and Manse and James, both of Toledo; daughters, Mrs. Mary Geisel and Mrs. Louis Delp, both of Toledo; Mrs. Gerald Schriefer, Genoa, and Mrs. Robert Seemann, Cleveland; sisters, Mrs. Mae Taylor, Mrs Wiliam Carl and Mrs. Florence Gstalder, all of Toledo, and 20 grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. in St. Ann's Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 P.M. in the Coyle Mortuary, Collingwood Boulevard.
