Father Dead.
John F. Moody Jr., of 2188 Encinal Avenue has received the news of the death of his father at Sacramento on Thursday and the funeral took place yesterday at Truckee. Deceased was a native of Maine, aged 68 years and came to California in 1858, engaging subsequently in lumbering, mining and staging. For many years he conducted the Truckee Hotel at Truckee and owned a stage line between that town and Lake Tahoe. He has resided here for some years, and at one time was interested in the local firm of Jackson & Co. He leaves three sons, John F., Chester B. and Frank A. Moody.
