Mrs. Alma Christine Jensen Andreasen died on Jan. 29, 1967, at Brodstone Memorial Hospital, Superior, at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 7 days. Born on July 22, 1892 to Nels Jensen and Mrs. Johanna Marie Jensen of Denver, she was baptized on Oct. 2, 1897. She later moved from the Denver area, with her parents, to a farm east of Superior where she was confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church north of Hardy.At the age of 17 she moved with her parents, back to their native Denmark where they lived for five years when they returned to the United States.She was united in marriage to Jens P. Andreasen on May 10, 1917, and to this union five children, Lavern of Hansen, Idaho; Mrs. Ralph Chapman (Dorothy) of Jerome, Idaho, Mrs. Clarence Degner (Lois) of Hansen, Idaho; Mrs. Wendell Washington (Margaret) of Willows, Calif.; and Mrs. Raymond Grummert (Mary Lou) of Superior.Mr. and Mrs. Andreasen lived their entire married life on a farm near Bostwick. Mr. Andreasen died on June 25, 1945, after which Mrs. Andreasen moved to Superior and lived here until her death. She was a charter member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Superior.Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Harry Jensen and two grandchildren, Dale and Gail Chapman.Surviving are her children; two half sisters, Mrs. Anna Sodosty and Mrs. Inger Harroll, and a half brother, Victor Jensen, all of Ludington, Mich.; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held at the Megrue Funeral Home in Superior Feb.2 with the Rev. Kent Morse officiating and interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
