Alvin F. "Hook" Hornung, 78, of 1415 Ekin Avenue, died Friday at his home. He was a retired millwright and former employee of the old Day Lumber Co., and New Albany Lumber Company. Survivors include his wife, the former Clarice E. HANGER; a daughter, Miss Norma HORNUNG of Pittsburgh; a son, John F. HORNUNG of Costa Mesa, Calif., and three grandchildren. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today at the Kraft Funeral Home. The funeral will be 9 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Prayer services will be 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. [d: 01-28-1983]
