Roy Shelton Stepherson born October 15, 1935 and raised in Brownsville, Texas, entered eternal rest February 22, 2009 in Hico, Texas. Roy was a musician and a farmer. He loved his music & he loved his farm but more than anything he loved his family. He leaves behind his wife Mary Ann Stepherson of Hico, Texas; his beloved children Dorothy Jean Jensen of Harlingen; Margaret Ann McCready (Bob) of Boonesville, Texas; William Preston Stepherson (Lorie) of La Feria, Texas; Carolyn Marie Tillery (Bryan) of Dallas, Texas; John Cleveland Stepherson (Jeri); Robert Shelton Stepherson of Killeen, Texas; Alfred Roy Stepherson (Estelle) of Hico, his sisters Judy Wendt (Dave) of Missouri, Jean Londrie (Chuck) of Belton, Texas and Barbara Anne Seals (Frank) of Brownsville, Texas.
Also feeling this loss are his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Kevin Stepherson, William Stepherson Jr., Roy Jensen, Jason Jensen and Hunter Stepherson. His Grandson Shane Jensen spoke at his service giving a wonderful tribute to his Grandpa as did Skylar.
Funeral and burial services wee held at Country Oaks Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hallie Cleveland and Wilma Anna Stepherson, his twin sisters Ailene Stepherson and Geraldine Lynch and extended family Mary Lew Stepherson and Minnie Louise "Boots" Stepherson, also a brother, Little boy Stepherson.
