In 1630 he emigrated from Englend to the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He first settled in Dorchester and in 1638 he moved to Winsor in 1638. On 3 Sep 1633 he and Thomas Moore appeared together as witnesses to the uncupative Will of John Russell. The 2 Moore men were probably brothers as most of their land grants were adjacent to each other.
