Lucy was predeceased by her brother Frank J. Todisco Jr. of Palm Coast, Fl., and a sister Pauline Cleaveland of Gary, Indiana.

Lucy served her beloved town of Shrewsbury in many capacities during the course of her life. As a lover of books she was elected to and proudly served on the Board of Library Trustees for 29 years. During that time she worked with other board members to expand the Howe Library to include the new addition as it is today. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Anne's Church for many years. It was her joy and privilege to instruct hundreds of children as a religious education instructor for 40 years having achieved a Master Catechist certification from the Diocese of Worcester during that time. In June 2005 in recognition of her dedication to her church and it's children the parish of St. Anne's installed a prayer garden in her honor on the church grounds.

Lucy was troop leader to Girl Scout troops at North Shore School and St. Anne's Church and served as Den Mother to a Cub Scout troop also at St. Anne's, and was a member of the Montachusett Girl Scout Council for many years. She was a lover of the great outdoors and spent many springs bringing the children of the Jordan Pond neighborhood together to do "Spring Cleanup". For all of her efforts over the years to beautify and maintain the Jordan Pond Park, Lucy was honored with a nature walking trail constructed around the pond and dedicated in her name in July 2007. She also kept beautiful flower beds and vegetable gardens around her home, raising everything from strawberries to pumpkins, donating surplus produce to friends and the food bank at her church. In 1990 Lucy received the annual Good Citizenship Award, for her work and dedication to the people and town of Shrewsbury. The award was presented by the Italian American Victory Club of Shrewsbury.

Lucy worked for many years for the Big Discount Supermarket and for a short period of time at Spag's, finally working for her daughter Barbara's business as a pastry chef for Struck Catering.
