MOORE, Clarence E. "Gene" Age 80, of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009. He was born in Gray (Knox Co.) Kentucky on July 20, 1928. Gene was preceded in death by one infant daughter Glenda, his parents George and Lizzie Moore; four brothers Caleb, Oscar, Elmer and John; two sisters Mary Player and Dean Parsons; and one special brother-in-law, Luther Gaddis Jr. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Elsie "Beth"; two sons Larry (Connie) of Clear Lake, WA, and Garry (Jane) of New Lebanon, OH; three granddaughters Amy (Ryan) Hegyi, Abby Moore, and Nicole (Jory) Burnett; three great-grandchildren Adeline Hegyi, Lorelei and Eli Burnett; a loving sister-in-law Betty Gaddis; and several nieces and nephews. He retired from General Motors, was a proud veteran of the Korean War and a member of The First Baptist Church of Farmersville. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon, 324 W. Main St. 45345, with Pastor Tom Vorhis officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment will be at Gray Cemetery in Gray, KY on Thursday Feb. 26, 2009 with graveside services starting at 2:00 PM.
