Dr. Frank Grider, a beloved physician of McKinney, died at his home there last Friday after a long illness. Paralysis was directly the cause of his demise, but he had been an invalid for several years.
Dr. Grider was about 48 years of age and was esteemed and beloved by all who knew him. He had been for years a faithful and consecrated member of the Christian church. His wife and four children survive.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Baptist church at McKinney, by Rev. D. M. Walker, of Stanford, after which the mortal remains of this good man were laid to rest in the McKinney cemetery.

Information from Eva B. Conner, "Medical Register I of Russell County, p. 16...Franklin Grider was a physician who graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Nashville, Tn. His diploma was dated 21 Feb. 1892. Franklin was 30 when he married. They were married at J. B. Patterson's with J. B. Patterson and L. F. School as witnesses.
