Mrs. Colleen Davis Banes, 41, of Little Creek, Pulaski County, died Friday morning at her home.
Born in Bland County April 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Albert T. Davis and Annie King Davis, she was the widow of Wayne Kenneth Banes.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jerry King, Pulaski County; two sisters, Mrs. Oakley Banes, Pulaski and Mrs. V. M. Wingert, San Diego, Calif; one half-sister, Mary Lou Davis, Bland County; four brothers, Lewis Davis, Bland County; Wayne Davis and Ford Davis, both of Pulaski and Donald Davis, U.S. Army.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Millirons Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Goshen Cemetery.
The body will remain at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home until one hour before the service.
