William Drayton Banes, 83, of Star Route Dublin, died Thursday morning in the Pulaski Community Hospital.
He is survived by his widow, Lucretia M. Carver Banes; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Roope of Pulaski; one stepdaughter, Cathaline Gills of Bluefield; four sons, William David Banes, Ellis Wilbur Banes, Edgar Albert Banes and Ernest Drayton Banes, all of Pulaski; and 21 grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Millirons United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Goshen Cemetery, Star Route Dublin.
The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
The family will receive friends at the Newberry Funeral Home in Bland Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
