Charles Leroy Drinnon

Mr. Drinnon was born Aug. 28 1933 at Roff Oklahoma to Charles Drinnon and Ruby A. (Meneley)Drinnon.Leroy was a resident of Concordia since Aug. 1996. Leroy was a Marine veteran. He also was a farm laborer, worked at a bottling plant, saw mill and federal compress( in Picacho AZ)Survivors include two sons Charles and Clay Drinnon of California, and two sisters. Edith Pickette of Concordia, Deloris McGregor of West Virginia
The service will be at 10;30 am Tuesday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Pastor Rick Grace officiating.
Leroy was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, two brothers Oscar and Stanley D. Drinnon.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Inc.
Visitation will be from 8 am to time of service Tuesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. Sixth St. Concordia 66901

Charles Leroy Drinnon,Son of Charles M. and Ruby A. (Meneley) Drinnon. Father of Charles G. Drinnon and Clay Drinnon. Leroy could sing and play the guitar and harmonica he wrote songs as well.Leroy died of prostate cancer.
All I can say is Leroy was a good man, funny he could keep you laughing. Leroy was a alcoholic after a lot of years drinking he quit I asked him how he did it and he said "I forgot to go buy it" and that was that. I think of him every day and miss him a lot REST in peace Leroy. Charles was in the U.S. Marine Corps for a few years.
