Funeral services for Jerry Dale McCaskill, 44, Davis were August 8 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Finis Steelman officiating. Graveside military rites and interment were at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
McCaskill was born July 19, 1945 at Wynnewood and died August 5 at his home in Davis. He had lived in Davis most of his life.
He married Audrey Sise, August 6, 1965, in Davis. His parents were the late Boyd and Vera Phillips McCaskill. He served in the U.S. Army and was active in the Army Reserves. He was a computer operator for Uniroyal Tire Company. He was also a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife and a son, Wade, of the home; four sisters, Dorothy Jones, Odessa, TX, Doris Meador and Beth Wiggin, Davis, and LaVeta McCormick of San Antonio, TX; and a brother John McCaskill of Oklahoma City.
Pallbearers were Buddy Vinyard, Wayne Womack, Gilbert Jenkins, Tom Kennedy, Terry Hewitt, Jackie Barnes, Ronnie Baugh and Gary Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Melton, Shane Summers, William Conn, Taylor Moore, Micah Noland and Brett Jameson.
