Blanche Griffith Tipton age 94, Passed away March 16, 2007 at Life Care Ctr. In Gray Tn. After a lenghtly illness.
She was the Daughter of the late David and Phoebe Whitson Griffith a native of Mitchell Co. NC.
She was co-founder of Tipton-Griffith General Merchandise. Tipton-Hill, NC.
She was a member of Lower Brummitts Creek Church of the Brethern.
Mrs. Tipton is preceded in death by husband, Farrell Tipton and one sister Mae Griffith.
Survivors include Mrs. Wilma Sue Kemp of N. Wilkesboro,NC. And Verna Lee Street of Gray,TN. One Son ,Kenneth Tipton,of Gray TN.Two Sisters Mrs. June Gouge and Madeline Bennett of Green Mt. One Brother: Frank Griffith of Green Mtn.NC.Five Grandchildren: Susan Street,Donna Harris,Glenda Rhodes,Clifford Kemp and Rhonda K.Miller . Three Great Grandchildren: Merrick and Max Kemp, and Elizabeth Miller.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday,March 19, 2007. in the Brummitts Creek Ch. Of the Brethern.Officated by; Jerry Rhodes, Rufus Smith and Phil Graber.
A commitial service will be held at in Tipton Hill Cemetery.
