Mary Elizabeth Black, 91, of Columbia died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at The Williamsburg.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at First Assembly of God Church, 1100 N. Seventh St., with the Revs. Clifford Cato and Charles Parker officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at Parker Funeral Service, 22 N. Tenth St.

Mrs. Black was born Feb. 8, 1910, in DeKalb to William Henry and Elizabeth Addeline Griffith Scott.

She married William Frederick Black on Aug. 19, 1933, and he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Francis Black and Leo Black, both of Columbia; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
