Final rites for James F. Arnett, who died at his home Monday morning after a heart attack, were held Wednesday afternoon with Rev. J. R. Colvin officiating.
Mr. Arnett came to Wagoner in 1928, and has owned a barber shop here for many years. He is a former member of the City Council, Worshipful Master of Masonic Lodge No. 98, Worthy Patrons of Eastern Star and on the advisory board of Rainbow.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; two sons, James D. Arnett of Wagoner; Paul Deloy of Maracaibo, Venezuela, and one daughter, Wanda June of the home; six grandchildren; four half-sisters and three half-brothers; including Ed Smith of Wagoner. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Hersman Funeral Home.
