Walter S. Krupa

Walter S. Krupa, 70, of 54 Dryden Drive, died Wednesday night at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital.

Born in Meriden, he lived here all his life. He was the owner and operator of the Green Lantern Restaurant on Colony Streey for some 35 years until his retirement in 1967.

He was a parisioner of St. Stanislaus Church, a member of the Elks, and a member of the Senior Citizens.

He leaves his widow, Brigette K. Koziol Krupa; seven sisters, Miss Catherine Krupa, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Straszewski, Mrs. Jospeh (Helen) Docar, Mrs. Frank (Lucy) Nursick, all of Meriden; Mrs. Walter (Mildred) Markiewicz of East Hampton, Mrs. Stanley (Florence) Nursick of Portland, and Mrs. Andrew (Ceil) Docar of Southington; six brothers, Frank Krupa, Stanley Krupa, Edward Krupa, Leo Krupa, Theodore Krupa and Henry Krupa; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., to St. Stanislaus Church at 10. Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
