Mrs. Ensell was a graduate of Wellsville Central School class of 1960 and had been employed by the Allegany Nursing Home in the housekeeping department for 11 years, retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed collecting teddy bears, traveling, camping and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Cattaraugus County Genealogical Society, Allegany Historical Society and the Allegany Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, two daughters, six grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one sister and one niece.
