Mrs. May Mathison Resident of Hebron Died On Saturday

Mrs. May Stewart Mathison of Hebron died in the hospital at Elkhorn, Wisconsin, suddenly on Saturday, January 4, 1947, after a short illness.

The granddaughter of pioneers, she was born November 6, 1881, on the farm settled by her grandfather, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Stewart.

She is survived by her husband, George, who is now confined to the hospital in Elkhorn with pneumonia; and by three daughters, Mrs. Lee Duncan of Wausau, Wisconsin, Mrs. Harold Johnson of Lake Geneva and Mrs. Frank Hoyt of Walworth, Wisconsin: and one son, Stewart Mathison, still at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert and Donald Stewart, both on farms, south of Hebron.

Funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, January 7, 1947, at 1:30 p.m. from the Mathison farm home, 2 miles north of Hebron, and at 2:00 p.m. at the Hebron Presbyterian church.
