Ballarby - Died, at 8pm, Friday, Oct 2, 1903, at the family residence two miles east of Elkhart, Mrs. Jennie Ballarby, aged 56 years. Funeral services will be held at noon tomorrow at the residence. Rev. Mr. Blekner will officiate. The remains will be brought to this city and the interment will be made in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The decedent is survived by her husband, Charles Ballarby, two daughters, Laura and Lida, residing at home, and Rev. Thomas H. Ballarby, pastor of the M.E. church, south, at Mariette, Ill., two sisters, Mrs. John Courtney of this city, and Mrs. Nels Olson of Athens; one brother, Hamilton Johnson of this city. Mrs. Ballarby was a native of Ireland and came to Illinois thirty-five years ago, residing here up to the time of her death. In 1873 she was married to Charles Ballarby in this city.
