OBITUARY
Greenville Advocate April 29, 1858
Died in this town Thursday, April 15, Mrs. Harriet Crocker, age 30 wife of Samuel H. Crocker, Esq., and daughter of the late Daniel Ferguson. Mrs. Crocker was a native of Greenville. She has left a husband and four young children to lament the irreparable loss of the best of wives and of mothers, and a large circle of other relatives and friends unite in deploring this unexpected and sudden berevement. Already her once earthly father, whose departure for a better life preceded her own but a few days, she is still both now and forever in the hands of that same just and benevolent and power which rules alike upon earth and in heaven.
