She was a native of South Hampton County and retired from the Norfolk Naval Base. She was a nursery sitter for Churchland Assembly of God Church for 10 years, a member of the Beazley Senior Center, Eberly Dance Group and a square dancer.
She is survived by a daughter, Delores J. Weidman; son, Dennard E. Callaway; a brother, Sydney Edwards; three grandchildren, Scott Weidman, Lee Callaway and Steve Weidman; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; and a nephew.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Larry O'Brian, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
